Fever

The normal temperature for a standard poodle is 38,5 degrees Celsius .
However the dog's system is not like a human. He cannot sweat to eliminate his heat. His only possibility is to augment his respiratory frequency .

In these conditions , in case of important effort or intense excitation his temperature could rise to 39,5 degrees.

If his temperature is higher than 39 degrees you must consult a veterinarian .
